In May of 2017 my beautiful and accomplished daughter Leah asked if she could partner with me. My response? Yes. And Thrilled. We spent our first season determining who was best at and enjoyed what aspect of the business. This past summer we began a journey to rebrand and redefine One Precious Pearl Floral Design and Styling. Part of that process was contracting with Jesse of Mast Wedding Videos to produce this promo for our website:
We are very pleased with the results!
As we begin our third season, there are two things we didn’t change. The first is our commitment to excellent quality and elegant presentation. Together we create living, breathing works of art. We take dreams and create a tangible reality you can step into, transforming ordinary spaces into gorgeous destinations.
We also continue to be faith-based company, believing marriage is a gift from God. We are blessed to serve couples embarking on this journey together. Weddings are the celebration of this new life, and we enter our relationship with each couple keeping this in mind.

In September of 2019 I was the owner and lead designer of a successful wedding floral design and styling business in Minnesota, and quite content with things as they were. As life would have it, however, my husband's job moved us 350 miles away. Leaving children, grandchildren, our home and my business behind, we made the move and settled in by early February 2020, just as #Covid19 started trending everywhere.
As a way to manage the upheaval of the move and the isolation of the pandemic, I turned my creativity to painting, crafting and photography. Always an entrepreneur and not yet ready to retire, I decided to start another business, One Precious Pearl...the Next Chapter.
Combining mixed media art with bookbinding, I now design and sell journals of various types. They range from vintage, modern vintage or mid century, junk, art, writing, faith or commonplace journals. I also welcome and thoroughly enjoy commissioned pieces!
