Oh Boy! Velveteen Rabbit Baby Shower
Velveteen Rabbit Baby Shower? What happened to weddings? Well, rest assured, we are still 100 percent involved in designing and styling weddings! However, we thought it was time to introduce you to another side of our business. In addition to weddings, we also design and style parties and events.
This little boy is going to be welcomed into a bright and beautiful room decorated in natural woodland colors with bunnies as accents. This and Mom’s love of “The Velveteen Rabbit” was the springboard for our bunny themed design.
Using wooden decorations, including Baby’s name on pine discs, foliage, and white peonies with blue delphiniums, we brought the outdoors inside.
Since the baby shower was a brunch, we served French toast, eggs Benedict, sliced ham with sauces, a Middle Eastern salad and a variety of cheeses.
And we threw in a few fun games we found on Pinterest!
This was such a fun day for us, and we love planning, designing and coordinating parties and events. Keep us in mind the next time you have a baby shower or other party/event to plan.

In September of 2019 I was the owner and lead designer of a successful wedding floral design and styling business in Minnesota, and quite content with things as they were. As life would have it, however, my husband's job moved us 350 miles away. Leaving children, grandchildren, our home and my business behind, we made the move and settled in by early February 2020, just as #Covid19 started trending everywhere.
As a way to manage the upheaval of the move and the isolation of the pandemic, I turned my creativity to painting, crafting and photography. Always an entrepreneur and not yet ready to retire, I decided to start another business, One Precious Pearl...the Next Chapter.
Combining mixed media art with bookbinding, I now design and sell journals of various types. They range from vintage, modern vintage or mid century, junk, art, writing, faith or commonplace journals. I also welcome and thoroughly enjoy commissioned pieces!
